Adelaide Hills Summer Picnic Hamper Fair - Hills Harvest Festival

We are providing a venue with a theme at the Old Woollen Mills in Lobethal. Mill Park will be the focus of this event with an array of marquees, picnic tables and rugs and live entertainment.

 

Adelaide Hills Wine Region members and Adelaide Hills Food producers will be showcased. Last year we held the event inside the market which was a great success. Food and wine tastings and sales along with gourmet platters prepared for visitors to enjoy and samples to take away will be available. Various other allied products will be on show in keeping with the theme. These include products from one of our major sponsors Coleman Brands (BBQs, Picnic tables & chairs, Eskys, Wine coolers etc), Sundowner - Australian designed picnicware (baskets, settings and more).

Wineries including Leabrook Estate, Arranmore Wines, Cawdor Wines & Tilbrook Estate and Gourmet Food producers Udder Delights, The Chop Shop, Natura's Icecreamery, Mt Lofty House Pies from Chris Broadfoot, Mattise Bakery and many more taste sensations will be represented

 

We will be open daily from 9.00am for the early birds until 5.00pm or later depending if necessary. Plenty of parking exists in and around the complex.

Summer Picnic Hamper Fair

The Old Woollen Mills will be buzzing on Saturday & Sunday 26th & 27th February from 9.00am to 5.00pm . Why? You ask.

The Picnic Hamper fair will seduce you with a tantalising blend of aromas. Just follow your senses and discover the bouquets of the wine from many local vineyards as well as those mouth watering smells from the barbeques and country kitchens. You'll find a haven of marquees on Mill Park , displaying country cuisine at its best. Throughout the market, park and courtyards, fine wine and hampers, plates or just a taste of Adelaide Hills gourmet delights are available to suit all budgets to eat in or to take away. Leabrook Estate, Tilbrook Estate, Mt Lofty Venison Pies, selections from The Chop Shop and others will be represented. While consuming this fare you can explore the picnic and outdoor entertaining ideas and accessories on show to help make your event more enjoyable.
