Lavender Festival

Lavender Festival on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th May.

For Mothers Day this May, we have planned a special event. The plant Lavender has a traditional meaning – constancy. Mothers are constants in our lives - just like lavender in a garden. We feel that this herb truly reflects a mother’s value which we celebrate on this weekend. The theme will extend to anything to do with lavender and the colours from lilac to purple. So why don't you fill your Mothers' Day with the magic of lavender and visit the Market in Lobethal.

The fragrance and the colour will give her day a lift and on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th May the Heart of the Hills Market will be filled with the Joy of Lavender. 

Craft stalls will have wonderful delights. The gourmet deli has plenty of delicious foods to taste and buy. You could get all your picnic supplies here.

Spinning Yarns coffee shop in the market will be offering a special deal for visitors for Tea or Coffee and Scones, jam and cream. 

The wineries in the complex are doing special wine tastings and meals will also be available.
