§         The Adelaide Hills Market in the Old Woollen Mills, Lobethal, in the Adelaide Hills, is a cosy, country, classy market showcasing a wide range of local vendors, producers and crafters. The Old Onkaparinga Woollen Mills buildings provide a perfect environment for this activity. §         This market venue is designed to capture the essence of the Adelaide Hills. Opening in December 2003 the market has over 100,000 visitors each year.

§         Visitors are treated to a feast for all the senses with food, beverages, crafts and entertainment.

§         Various sized tenancies (stalls) are available on a casual and permanent basis to strictly qualified applicants.

§         The market is open on weekends and public holidays. Opening times from 10:00am to 4:00pm  and perhaps extended during the Daylight Saving period.

§         The Old Woollen Mill Building 21 provides the best environment for the first stage, Building 5D opened as an extension with 35 extra stall sites in October 2005 and other buildings currently vacant considered for future expansion.

§         Appearance of the building has been enhanced with colourful signage and banners, and stalls have been erected to create an authentic market-place feel.

§         Continuous promotion will be undertaken via local and major media, tourism authorities and operators.

  Museum:- We have made space within the market for a small exhibition of Onkaparinga Woollen Mill memorabilia including working looms and visual displays. The buildings have been empty since the mill closed operations in 1993.
